Reyhan has been working on a series called “Tea” since 2013
“To me, tea transcends mere beverage; it becomes a canvas for the expression of my innermost emotions and life’s experiences. Tea embodies the essence of a person, akin to a delicate vessel encased in glass, where the reflections of the surrounding world meld seamlessly with its contents, encapsulated within the fleeting confines of time.
The tea leaves, which are poured into boiling water, resist and do not change at first, but with the passage of time, they open beautifully and gently and start a slow dance and rotation. They brew with patience and in the end it is the tea leaves that fill the world of the teapot with their taste and color and harmonize the environment with them.”
